Search Queries
A name or place entered into a search tool is sent to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its result. Webb County Criminal History does not keep a local log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When an email is sent to us, the message may be retained long enough to address it and maintain the related correspondence. It is not shared outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Texas Government Code Chapter 552 governs public requests to Texas government bodies, while Government Code Chapter 411 limits dissemination of state criminal-history information. Neither statute turns this private reference site into a government records custodian. Other applicable privacy law may permit a person to:
